VTV9 AND PUBLIK COMMUNICATIONS TO LAUNCH THE “ PRISM OF FASHION” & “ BEAUTY`S TYLES” TELEVISION PROGRAMS In this November, the “Prism of Fashion” and “ Beauty Styles” television programs will be officially broadcasted on VTV9 channel belonging to the Vietnam Television. These are two new television programs produced by the Vietnam Television co-operated with Publik Communications Company Limited. The “Prism of Fashion” will be broadcasted at 11am every Saturday while the “Beauty Styles” at 10am every Sunday. The Prism of Fashion is a diverse fashion program introducing suitable fashion collections for Vietnamese and updating trends of fashion in Vietnam and the world. Besides introducing fashion collections designed by famous designers or prestigious fashion companies in Vietnam and the world, the unique point of the program is that special topics providing advices to audiences in order to help them to hide their body`s weaknesses. For example, there is a topic about fashion for the fats. The topic will advise which kind of material the fats should wear (thin or thick fabric, shiny or not, soft, rinse or hard….), the level of length, horizontal or vertical stripe to make the fats look slimmer. Or topic for people who have oversized waist or small chest, long back, short legs…..These topics will use detail photos or images to illustrate what should or should not. Models for these topics will be not professional models whom body`s weaknesses suitable for the topics. Including the “Chatting with famous person” part, the Prism of Fashion is also an interesting program which audiences can have a chance to find out about the famous individuals who are appreciated to have a good sense of fashion. The guest can be a “star” of entertainment world such as models, singers, movie stars, artists or businesspersons, scientists, doctors, teachers….the guest will give his/her comment about the general fashion trend and also share with audiences their personal thoughts of fashion and their experience of the way to dress for success. The Prism of Fashion hosts a fashion design competition. With motivation of producing practical products which can be used in normal life, the competition topic will be “Proactive Fashion”. The competition aims to give young people a chance to prove their abilities of fashion design and win a scholarship to study about design of fashion. The Beauty` Styles is an useful information channel which women can find the way to take care their beauty and improve themselves. With 4 parts including Skin care, make up teaching and consulting, Hair style making and Advices of choosing costumes and accessories, the Beauty` Styles is the encyclopedia of beauty`s secrets for women. To attract audiences by practical consultancies and let the audiences gain good results and even to join the program, the Beauty` Styles will have some following new and unique points. Differing from other programs teaching make-up, the Beauty` Styles will not use professional models or person chosen by make-up specialists. Audiences can register to be model by calling the number 19001742 or sending messages to 8213 PCPÑ. Not only teaching audiences certain make-up styles and colors, the Beauty` Styles also contents special topics to guiding women to look after organs in women`s faces. For example, there is a week to teach about the eyebrow. How to choose the shape of eyebrow for each kind of faces(round, square, oval, long, ……), which tool to depict good eyebrow`shape, the way to depict eyebrow` shape to avoid slacking the eye` skin areas, using eyebrow pencil or color powder to draw eyebrow, which color of eyebrow pencil/color powder for each kind of skin, hair color….. Besides young target audiences, the Beauty` Styles focuses on women of the age over 40 whom faces appear sign of time. There are topics to consult using cosmetics for anti aging, hiding wrinkles at mouth and eye areas, using shadow to make faces look slimmer, using cosmetics with suitable color to make women look younger but charming and elegant. The Beauty` Styles will organize a make-up competition for all women from 16 – 50 years old. Women will register to make up on their own faces. Candidates can choose any make-up style and color which are presented in the program in a year. There are 3 awards and winners will be received valuable awards from organizers and sponsor. The Beauty` Styles uses new way of expression. It is reality show shot and recorded voice directly. Web : www.publik.com.vn Information about VTV9 VTV9 is a new channel of Vietnam Television Station, groud broadcasting, VTV9 has officially been broadcasted from 8th October 2007 at Ho Chi Minh City, covered all Eastern South provinces and Northern provinces of Hau River (Binh Duong, Dong Nai, Ba Ria-Vung Tau, Tay Ninh, Binh phuoc, long an, Tien Giang, Ben Tre…) with a duration 18 hours per day (from 6:00 am to 0:00 am) The main target of Vietnam Television Station is building VTV9 to become a national TV channel that could express significantly cultural character South area for audiences living in these areas to be able to see reality, close and usefulness from all programs of the Station.
